Before you call me a hypocrite, I can say that, Sure there are pairings that annoy me such as TwiDash and Rarijack, as well as Duncan x Gwen IMO. (Sorry ryeguy.) But it's for other reasons rather than it's not canon. (Although DunGwen really is canon.) For example, I hate Rarijack because Rarity and Applejack are friends not lovers, and it can ruin Spike's love life (I mean hello? He has a crush on Rarity)
Okay, now for the description:
I am really getting tired of people complaining about how crack ships like ZeldaxLink, Fluttermac and other crack ships are Not canon.
Seriously, who gives a fuck if it's canon or not, Fans still ship it. Same thing for OCs getting shipped with Canon characters. (Especially well developed OCs.)
Hating on a ship because it's not canon is just plain stupid. Find your other reasons otherwise I can't agree with you when it's a pairing I like (OTP or not).

I don't dislike Viney x Emira because it's gay OR because it's not canon.
I don't ship it because it's overrated.
