Joker Meme 9 - PG Rated Chick Flicks

Description

NOTE: This meme, unlike both B&TB '17 and MLP: The Movie 2017, isn't rated PG as this obviously contains cuss words lol. Also, the title is because of female characters and such, I won't deny that everyone enjoys both B&TB and MLP. Most people, I mean.

Look, when I see the rating for the Beauty and the Beast live-action remake by Disney getting a PG rating (for some action violence, peril and frightening images) instead of a G one, nobody seems to complain about it, even though Disney got us fooled thinking this movie will be PG-13, and people don't seem to care about the film being rated PG. Months later, when the MPAA announced that the upcoming My Little Pony: The Movie (based on the G4 iteration, let alone the Friendship Is Magic series) gets a PG rating for mild action (Which it could be kinda similar in epicness with season finales like Twilight's Kingdom and A Canterlot Wedding), guess what the outcome is:

PEOPLE. GETTING. FUCKING. TRIGGERED. OVER. A. PG. RATING. FOR. A. PONE. FILM.

No joke, just look up some person's pissy rant on the MLP movie getting a PG rating, expecting the film gets rated G just because the franchise is aimed at girls.

This is fucking ridiculous. The show has discovered any darker, or better yet, serious themes in the show despite being rated TV-Y and being a lighthearted slice-of-life fantasy comedy show, same thing with Equestria Girls. Hell, the Bratz live action movie (which it's yet another adaptation from toys aimed at girls, and like Jem 2015, is a shitty one) was, oh, I dunno, rated PG too? Also, back then SpongeBob was rated TV-Y, right before they switched it to TV-Y7, and guess what, the first movie is fucking rated PG!

Besides, standards do change in the film industry. And speaking of standards, you're making this stupid bullshit with being okay a PG-rated live-action retelling of a story as told as time that was rated G back then with its animated film, and yet get so fucking pissed over a PG rating for a movie based on a show and franchise known as My Little Pony.

That is so dumb that I wanna drink bleach. This is Attitude Era fanboyism against PG all over again. (No offense to my friends who don't like the PG era.)

Roscoe could destroy a TV-Y rating to correct anything:
