Oh, shit! First dA post of 2018?! IMPOSSIBRU!!! IMPOSSIBRU!!!

Consider this sort of an upgrade from this: aaronmon97.deviantart.com/art/…

The stamp says: "NICK AND DISNEY ARE NOT CARTOON-ONLY NETWORKS TO BEGIN WITH"

Why? Because I can (sadly) understand why people loathe live-action shows aimed at tweens for being unfunny, predictable (sorry, but the word generic makes me cringe and I consider this shit a buzzword) and all that shit (with shows such as Game Shakers, Shake it Up!, Kickin' It, etc. However, people should understand a thing or two about this and get this through their thick skull that DISNEY CHANNEL AND NICKELODEON WEREN'T CARTOON-ONLY NETWORKS TO BEGIN WITH.

My point will still stand and, while I agree that Disney and Nickelodeon should have more cartoons on their channel, these Disney cartoons/Nicktoons shouldn't replace the sitcoms that both networks prefer to run. More cartoons, yes. But please, for the love of God, let the kids/tweens enjoy the sitcoms just like we enjoyed past sitcoms as kids and do not oppress them just because you don't like it nor you find the current sitcoms unfunny. Also, if you want more cartoons on both networks, Awesome. But it needs variety on the programming, half toons and half live-action or anything.

Unlike Cartoon Network (with the exception of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast), Nickelodeon and Disney Channel made classic sitcoms like Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, Kenan & Kel, All That, Teen Angel, Hey Dude, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, etc. back in the past long before people started hating on live-action sitcoms aired on both networks. And Nick aired game shows back in the past such as Double Dare and Guts.

Unlike current shows like Bizaardvark, I Didn't Do It, The Thundermans and Henry Danger, Nobody disliked these sitcoms or live-action shows from the past that used to air in both networks.

That's not to say that the same could be for Nicktoons and Cartoon Network, oh no, both CN and Nicktoons should be cartoon-only networks as they were in the beginning, with the latter being showcased for Anime like Digimon, Original Series like Kappa Mikey and classic and modern Nicktoons, especially do some burn-off for low-rated/failed Nicktoons shows. (What about Power Rangers, you ask? Past incarnations can move to TeenNick or a separate Nick channel. idk. Unless Saban's deal with Nick ends in the near future, which I doubt it, since they made inaccurate anniversaries imo. I mean, Megaforce and Super Ninja Steel as their anniversary seasons is like saying Goseiger celebrates 35th of Sentai instead of Gokaiger and Ninninger celebrates 40th of Sentai instead of Zyuohger, but that's besides the point.)

I would say the same for Disney XD, since it started as a Cartoon-only Network named Toon Disney, but its block, Jetix, aired a live action show that currently (after Saban brought PR back from Disney back in 2010) should have been airing on TeenNick instead of Nicktoons. And I mentioned this on a parenthesis before. Not repeating the name of the franchise. Also, they aired Masked Rider and Beetleborgs before Jetix/Toon Disney turned into Disney XD.

So, In conclusion. Both channels weren't cartoon-only to begin with, except for Nicktoons and CN (and slightly Toon Disney if Jetix didn't air Power Rangers and other Saban Toku adaptations. Because again, live-action.) Even though people can still hate today's tween sitcoms (much to my worries that people from past generations will degrade the poor children from this generation because they don't like it for many justified and legit reasons), my point still stands. Don't tell both networks to replace live-actions with animated shows just because you don't like it. Have variety between both types of programming, I agree.

Besides, what is funny to you nowadays? I bet you can make a better kids' sitcom than Bizaardvark or Game Shakers.

If this makes you mad in disagreement, I am sorry.

Well, if these companies aren’t cartoon-only networks to begin with then, I’d think that Nintendo isn’t a video game-only company to begin with too.
